I have a few suggestions; first, I like the Kaitlynn, but I'm not sure why the letter K and L have such long stems ? I think it would like nice if they were smaller and the the last N should come up from the S and the same going for the H in Shea. Second, I think you should put the text on one line and have the S separate the names maybe. I do like the sophistication of the S, so I would work more with that.
ReplyDeleteKaitlynn - I think the type logo has good promise. As you can see here, though, the design is falling apart - so the thin type might be just a bit too thin. Can you add a .5 stroke in Illustrator to those letters? Then, the S would not appear to be quite so starkly different - and your name would become a bit more unified.
ReplyDeleteBusiness card: I think I see a thin dark green horizontal line top and bottom… is it there? Do you think this might be a bit too subtle? Could it appear to be a mistake? Maybe be more intention with this second color? Would it work in the background, to replace the black?
The contact info and your logo are not in much of a relationship. In fact, they appear to be ignoring each other. The contact is more bold, so those 3 lines want to be the focal point. No no - it needs to be your logo!!
Keep thinking, this is going to be good!
