RAW - Refugee Artisans of Worcester

The Refugee Artisans of Worcester are a non-profit group that helps settle refugees who have just arrived to the US and the artisans use their skills to weave scarves and baskets and such to earn money to support themselves. All the while, RAW is helping and supporting them whenever they need it and in any way they can.

  1. I know I gave you feedback already, but this looks better from when I saw it last. I honestly would just add some tracking on the REFUGEE ARTISANS OF WORCESTER. But I like the concept you came up for this R.A.W. logo.

  2. Kaitlynn - I agree with Jamaal about widening the letter spacing in the “Refugee Artisans of Worcester” because of the close kerning of the font as it appears here. I don’t know if you tightened that up by hand, but currently it isn’t as readable as it could be.

I’m not sure about the very last line in that boxed arrangement. It seems quite small, and you probably need a space before the date. I wonder if you would think about spelling out the word “Established” - to provide a wider line for the rest to “sit” on? One of the things I think about is providing a good foundation for the design to sit on.

Are you going to combine both of these designs together? For instance - adding the illustration above, or even behind, the boxed typography?
