USPS Postal Mail Panel

For those who are planning to include a Jay Buckley Tour promotional marketing piece, here is a sample to follow for the mailing panel. Make your panel look real... and it will change the feel of the piece from a school project to a real world project.

Jay Buckley's Tour Brochure

This is a mailer I did for the Jay Buckley's tour. I wanted to make a pocket size brochure, which then transform into a poster. This brochure is for targeted towards families who love to travel and also loves baseball. I did make a few changes from the original by; making the font more readable and changed around the layout so that images are clearer.  I do feel like I can make this much better so I am looking forward to your feed back. I also included an example of how the brochure is folded. Have a good weekend!

Here is my Baseball Tour 12 brochure it may look a bit strange in the jpeg because it laid flat out instead of folded how its supposed to be. Anyways let me know what you all think.

After receiving some feedback I added my name and some type into the logo to connect the shape to my name and provide some relevance for the anchor. Let me know if any of you have more feedback for me.

Jay Buckley Tours

This is my brochure for Jay Buckley's Baseball tours. I changed the front page from a dye cut to just an normal front cover. I ended up changing it because it wasn't the look I wanted, and wasn't coming out as clean as I hoped.

Here is my Logo that I created. I combined my initials to create an anchor shape with the J and the L. Let me know what you all think.

Herbert Bayer Type Specimen

Typographic Portrait and Type Specimen of Typographer Herbert Bayer

Herbert Bayer was a typographer and designer at the Bauhaus in Hausruck Austria. He created what he called the "universal typeface" which was a geometric style and had, as the name implies, a more geometric shape to it, mainly round. I didn't use his actual font because it's really hard to find the actual font and when I did, it was a bit out of my price range so I used a free font that was as close as possible which was Kabel. The body copy seems a bit small but in print, it's plenty readable.

I just wanted to share my first and second projects that I edited with the help of your feedback. Let me know what you think and if you see any minor changes I should make before I put this in the "Done with this folder."

PSA

Down Syndrome PSA

Wandering 7

This is my magazine called Wandering 7. It is meant to be published seven times a year and each time it goes along with the seven continents.

Here is my typographic poster of Ed Fella who created a western style font. The body copy may seem small in the jpg but it is at 11 points so when printed it is still very much readable. Anyways let me know what you all think.

Jay Buckley Tour 20 Brochure

Jay Buckley Baseball Tour 20 Brochure
Tour 20 spans from the Southern California area to Phoenix, AZ and almost everyday there is a new city to go to and a new stadium to visit with a baseball game every night.

NOTE: On the pages with just an image and no text, the right side has a piece of gold vellum with the city, playing teams, and a vague outline of the building tops overlaying the image.

Design Change

This is my ad I did for the Hope Jacket to help homelessness in urban communities. First page is the Design Change logo I did for the research & development company that is helping me move this project forward. Hope Jacket is meant to keep the homeless warm, provide comfort, and most important give them hope.

For this project we had to pick an art movement and make a menu from it. I picked Suprematism.
