Design Change

This is my ad I did for the Hope Jacket to help homelessness in urban communities. First page is the Design Change logo I did for the research & development company that is helping me move this project forward. Hope Jacket is meant to keep the homeless warm, provide comfort, and most important give them hope.

  1. Jamaal - I’m going to write about the ad design here, since I’m not sure the other 2 pages will actually appear in your portfolio. I would suggest you display the logo for Design Change in a different, and more advantageous way (larger on white background that frames the logo rather than the edges of the page), and I see no reason to show page 2 at all, because we can see it clearly in the ad.

This ad series is really great. I would suggest you consider enlarging the standing model just a bit, so when seen on the web that person is showing the coat clearly. The running type at the very top of the page (In total…) may not be the most important statistic of all the different stats you show… and it should be since it will, no doubt, be the first stat anyone reads. Hmmm… this is actually a fact that, unless tied directly to the sale of your jackets, may not be one you want to use. The others explain the problem, this one seems to be saying “don’t worry, this problem is going away.”

That’s it - the composite design itself appears completely done to me. Can you post the other 2 ads as well?

    Nice.
