Mount Wachusett Community College, in Gardner MA offers a 2-year program for Graphic and Interactive Designers (GID program). The final course in the GID program helps students assemble and present their best work produced in the program. I love this—How you used the title and made mahler big enough to fit across the page and cutting off the bottom is nice. The body subtitle and body copy is the right font size to able to tell whats the subtitle and what's the body copy. Nice work Kristen.
Kristen - The background image is warm and beautiful, a lovely image to use with this famous orchestral piece. The use of an alignment grid, FL and FR is striking, and makes sense as it aligns with the downstroke of the “h” in Mahler. I do question the position of the “9” however. Since there is so much use of an alignment grid… the placement of the “9” seems a bit random. Another look at its place might be worth it. And - please print this out in b/w for next class… I see some typos and awkward sentence structure, and I’ll proof this for you. Nice piece.
