Jay Buckley Tour 20 Brochure

Jay Buckley Baseball Tour 20 Brochure
Tour 20 spans from the Southern California area to Phoenix, AZ and almost everyday there is a new city to go to and a new stadium to visit with a baseball game every night.

NOTE: On the pages with just an image and no text, the right side has a piece of gold vellum with the city, playing teams, and a vague outline of the building tops overlaying the image.

  1. Kaitlynn - This is looks so exciting! The shapes on the pages, with some angles denoting motion and forward movement. Very nice overlays. Some issues you need to attend to are:

    1. Typographic details need attention. Example is seen on page 3 where the body text is being pulled apart by too much leading, and the centered alignment is so close to looking like justified text that it probably should be justified text. No widows and orphans should be allowed… which means you could consider indenting the body text on the left and the right to facilitate full lines. The stats in the upper right seem pretty light and the heading could certainly command more attention if it were larger.

    2. As I look through the pages, I see a layout on 11 that uses more individual background shapes and overlapping photos then appear on other layouts (like 13). I encourage you to rethink some of the other pages (particularily 7, 9, and 13) to bring them more in line with 11.

    3. I wonder if you want to add a word or 2 to the heading on 14? Like “Your collected autographs” or something like that… to make it quickly clear as to what this should be used for).

    4. So - this whole project is a mailer? The back page tells me it will be mailed to someone. Is that right? Meaning - you would mail it back to yourself after attending this tour? Hmmm… I don’t think I understand how you want me to use this…
