I made the feature article title on the cover more readable along with removing the rose from the bottom because it was too busy with the rose. Also, on the spread, I didn't want to get rid of the "S" but it was getting in the way of the first few lines of the article, so I made it a shadow.
The illustration element on the cover still ends very abruptly on the left, and seems tilted to the upper left as well. Do you have more of that illustration on the left? Does it crop better on the right hand side of the original? I say that because one solution could be to slide the illustration over and have it bleed off the left side of the cover. This issue is important to work out - don't ignore it! Lastly, you might want to tint the color inside the illustration to be a bit lighter tan. The other pages look fine.
