Muhammad Ali poster
I wanted to share a few of my reworked designs from a 2D class I took. The original composition was a Muhammad Ali image with a blurb. I felt that Ali was just to much off to the side so I decided to enlarge him and use a slab san serif font and taking key words from his famous quote. Let me know what you think. All feedback is welcomed.

The top design is, by far, more interesting and readable. I wonder about the lack of color in it, though. What about tinting the border treatment that sits around the edge and moves behind his body? Adding color there would increase the contrast between his body and the background. Your portfolio shows an ability to use color wisely... and so I would think you could do that with this piece as well.
